Start planning your 2018 summer, because Green Velvet (aka Cajmere), will be playing once the sun comes back out after winter at a secret park location near you.
The great man has been shaking up dance floors for over two decades now, so he’s no stranger to the decks of Melbourne.
He was a champion of Chicago beats throughout the 90s before achieving a No.1 US dance hit in 1995. Since then, he’s been spreading his infectious party spirit on dance floors throughout Europe, the US and Australia, producing some songs he describes as ‘folk music for the rave scene.’
Accompanying Green Velvet will be Heidi, another Aussie favourite who finished out 2017’s Let Them Eat Cake Festival and played a memorable set at Pitch Music & Arts Festival 2018. Phil Kieran, one of Ireland’s best-loved club DJs will be bringing his techno-skills to the secret park after delighting techno-heads to his beats for over 15 years.
Ultimate favourite locals, the Interstellar Fugitives duo who impressed the crowd at Solomon’s Warehouse Party, plus Melbourne old-school favourite Boogs will be making an appearance at the secret location in a lush inner-city Melbourne park to be announced later in the year.
