One of the world’s leading electronic artists, Kölsch has just announced he will be making his way down under to bring his unique visual showcase and selection of beats from the final chapter of his new album, 1989 presented in a live show at the Forum Theatre.
Kölsch has always been a staple electronic music producer with a loyal following of DJs who regularly play his songs at events throughout the world, particularly here in Melbourne. His evocative piano melodies are easily recognisable as his own and his original sound can be heard throughout his new album. “Loreley”, “Der Alte”, “DerDieDas” or “Cassiopeia” are always highly appreciated tracks by all of the crowd and now we are able to see Kölsch himself along with ‘1983’, the final chapter of an album trilogy, live in concert.
The Danish artist is consistently praised around the world with Resident Advisor staying that ‘many electronic producers claim their albums have themes, but few provoke a sense of faded nostalgia like Kölsch’ who conjures ‘moments of real magic’. Whilst having his own BBC Radio 1 Residency radio show, Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac shared that Kölsch is ‘sort of king when it comes to pianos and house music. He’s got a way of wrenching your emotions.’
Presale tickets are now sold out and tickets are available before they sell out to the public from here.
