Inspired by Berlin’s house and techno scene in the mid-90s, Marco Resmann has made his mark as a solo producer and DJ, which led to landing a residency at Watergate club in 2006. His unique deliverance of house and techno is marked by detailed, complex arrangements that quickly brought his productions to notice by labels such as Watergate Records and Poker Flat Recordings.

Resmann’s passion for music extends beyond simply producing and playing. He is also the co-founder of the Berlin-based record label Upon.You, which has played a large contribution to the international club scene since 2007. His label itself gained a worldwide reputation as legendary parties were held in venues all over the globe, including the renowned but now defunct residency at Panorama Bar.

Running for over six years, these parties played a massive influence on how Resmann perceives extended DJ sets. This is reflected by the global success that he has received from crowds all over the world. In August alone, Resmann played fifteen shows across every major dance capital of Europe, and has played at festivals such as Fusion and Melt!, as well as venues such as Warung and DC10.

This summer, thanks to Thick as Thieves, Resmann will be making a visit to Australia. If you are an enthusiast of fun, rolling tech-house basslines, this is definitely an event that you wouldn’t want to miss.
