The long anticipated first round line-up for Piknik Électronik’s third year in Melbourne is here!

After being teased with the first of the series’ line-up a few months ago, the first round of artists have been thrown at us all at once and boy do we have a lot to look forward to. 

As per previous years, the team behind Piknic Électronik are changing up the venue again and this seasons 12 editions will take place weekly, every Sunday, Southside at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The summer favourite which boasts international acts and family friendly activities accompanied by delicious food will be running from January through to mid March including the first installment which coincides with New Year’s day celebrations. The return of Audiojack, who played late in the season last year will be accompanied by home-returning Francis Inferno Orchestra and comrades Session Victim bringing their live show.

Today we are presented with a diverse electronic music line-up which includes headliners such as Tini, Danny Daze, Magda, Michael Mayer, Deetron and Paul Woodford! Many of these artists now pleasing punters as they’ll be doing second shows away from festivals they’re billed at.

Along with these big acts the supports are equally as strong with familiar names like Tornado Wallace, Harvey Sutherland, Post Percy, Honeysmack, Sundelin and Matt Radovich.

Along with this impressive bill the team is promising more with a Petit Piknic program for the little ones. 2017 will include a designated area for young ravers. This season Petit Piknic will have a wider range of weekly activities, kids food options and a few surprises that will all be revealed shortly.
