There’s only one more sleep until Babylon – the equal parts utopian playground and bohemian gathering set deep in the heart of the Australian wilderness.
Babylon will feature an inspired curation of local and international live and electronic music artists, alongside a unique world of art, wellness and community exploration.
The innovative and lifestyle festival will be held from Friday February 23, through to Sunday February 25.
The line-up includes legend and dust merchant Carl Cox, who will return to the stage alongside electronic music icon Laurent Garnier.
House master Derrick Carter will join Babylon straight from Chicago’s Boompty headquarters, while Agents of Time will return to Australia after some incredible live performances on their last tour at the Tell No Tales shows.
On the Psy tip – Tristan + Avalon = Killerwatts, the heavyweight Nano Trance masters will be joining as a duo, as well as treating the crowd to individual sets.
LOUD are also back to the Mandala stomping ground with a first of Nimrod on live drums.
The Babylon team have described the three-day event as a place that revellers can “be free of everyday pressure, judgement and limitations, surrounded by friends and likeminded travellers, artists and performers; coming together in the beautiful surrounds of the Australian countryside with soft earth under foot and constellations overhead.”
2017-attendee Freddy Stone will be heading back to the magical wilderness this weekend.
“Last year was pretty last minute, I ended up going without looking at the lineup and it ended up being a really sick weekend,” he told New Rhythms.
“Infected Mushrooms, Carl Cox, Handsdown and Leighboy were definite highlights. This year I got given a ticket for my birthday because [my friends] knew how much I loved last year”.
Babylon 18 will be a true treat for the senses. You can view the full line up, here.
